Garage sales are good for getting rid of junk, but don't bring in much $$$. My mom and sister came down Thursday night, and we had a yard sale on Friday and Saturday. Due to the rain on Saturday it became a Garage sale. We made a whopping $144. $60 of that went to my mom. The rest is mine. We had lots of stuff left over. I kept the 4 boxes of books to take to Half Price Books. Mom took the rest to Goodwill. Monday I made $14.50 at Half Price when I took in one box of books and video/cassette tapes. I'll take the other 3 boxes sometime. I'm trying to save some of the money for my trip to Cali.
